Rockford Corporation, the industry leader in high-performance car audio systems, and Helix, a German developer of HiFi systems, will introduce a new level of premium sound to factory-installed mobile sound systems, on May 2, 2011, with its new Helix Plug-and-Play, the PP50 DSP. This new digital signal processor has a number of features that allow audio enthusiasts to experience an amazing improvement in tonal quality, bass, mid-bass and imaging.

The new PP50 Digital Signal Processor offers many exciting features including:

• 16 easy to tune manual DSP adjustment via DIP-switches
• Easy installation with vehicle specific interfaces
• Input for MP3 player or portable navigation device
• Three time alignment modes
• Separate front/rear high-pass and subwoofer low-pass crossovers
• Downloadable setup files for wide variety of vehicles
• Improves signal before relaying audio to factory speakers
• Integrates into vehicle without cutting wires or cables
• Optional plug-and-play subwoofer available
• Optional USB interface available to adjust DSP
• Uses MicroSD memory cards

Consumers can also purchase an optional accessory, the PP7E. The dual 7" vented enclosure can be quickly installed or removed from the system, is perfectly matched for connection to the digital signal processor unit and has plug-and-play connectivity.
